We Deliver Diagnostic Solutions

What is Tinnitus?

Tinnitus is when you experience ringing, buzzing or humming in one or both of your ears. It is common and may occurs in conjunction with an auditory impairment, for instance after an acute loss of hearing. Tinnitus can be caused by any, or all, of the following:

  • Exposure to loud noise
  • A side effect of medication
  • Ear or head injuries
  • Diseases of the ear
  • Ear infections
  • Emotional stress

We work in partnership with The Tinnitus Clinic, a CQC registered service providing adult audiology rehabilitation for hearing loss, tinnitus and hyperacusis (sensitivity to sounds).
