Proud to help, support and care for our patients and the NHS

With 17 years in medical diagnostic imaging services we are one of the largest providers in the UK, treating over 3 million patients a year.

Always future planning we have taken advantage of modern developments in medical imaging techniques, equipment and technology.

We are an established NHS partner and work with hospitals and primary care commissioners to develop a valued service for patients through our fleet of mobile diagnostic services and fixed locations, and to support NHS organisations further we have developed value for money services allowing shared staffing, equipment and managed services. Our commitment is to provide affordable, efficient long or short term solutions that will support the NHS.

We are a dynamic, responsive and creative diagnostic service that is committed to the highest quality of care. Our goal is to offer a personal service that is easily accessible to both patients and the NHS alike.

With over 100 community locations, 4 diagnostic hubs, and 10 fully equipped mobile units we provide the highest quality care, where and when you need it.

We also offer private scans and appointments for self-pay and insured patients at affordable prices as we recognise that patients sometimes want to take control and access services themselves.

We will always provide the same high quality standard for all our patients regardless if they choose NHS or private medical scans.

With our state of the art MRI, CT, Ultrasound, DEXA and X-ray services we can help the NHS by:

  • Providing direct access, managed diagnostic imaging services across the UK
  • Design a bespoke service for your patients
  • Improve access to services in your area
  • Give your patients more choice
  • Reduce waiting lists or backlogs
  • Provide essential cover during routine maintenance, breakdown or replacement of scanners

We pride ourselves on:

Accreditation – CQC and ISO

Rest assured we are registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), have ISO 9001 for our quality standards, ISO 14001 accreditation for our environmental commitment and maintain the NHS IGSoC (information Governance) standards for connection to N3 (NHS broadband network) and the NHS network for e-referral, image transfer (IEP) and NHS mail.

‘Our aim is to achieve improvement across all services through a process of audit and assessment, to implement change and improve outcomes for all patients.’

To maintain the above accreditations, we complete both internal and external yearly audits of all our policies and processes.

Exceptional level of care/attention to detail

We continually assess the quality of our services and care we provide. It is at the heart of everything we do and mirrors one of the flagstones principles of the NHS.

Our partnership with the NHS aims to help reduce waiting times for patients, bringing care closer to home, within the community, which helps improve accessibility, choice and speed of care for all patients. Partnerships with independent providers like Diagnostic Healthcare have helped the NHS achieve these targets and change the way many services are now delivered.

Diagnostic Healthcare is a leading provider of NHS imaging in the UK. You don’t need to be a member or have insurance to access our services. We support the NHS and all our patients’.
